There has been a lot of talk about subsidies recently. The volume of artist subsidies has shrunk drastically in recent decades. This puts great pressure on the earning capacity of independent makers in the sector with major consequences for their socio-economic position.

Board members Koen Bartijn (representing visual and creative business) and Bert Wagenaar van Kreveld (representing the performing arts) will chair a CC Theme Café for the first time. During this theme café, we will openly discuss this topic with each other and collect input for, for example, a manifesto, open letter or action agenda.

What is a theme café?
The aim of the CC Theme Café is to delve into a specific theme with members of De Creatieve Coalitie. We want to investigate the theme, collect your input and, if necessary, link an action to it. The event is led by the board members of De Creatieve Coalitie.
